I believe deeply in the power of the therapeutic process. Resolving challenges and life events that have become difficult to manage is the space in which I will meet you, and together, you will collaboratively work towards setting attainable goals while processing and gaining insight into better managing circumstances outside of your control. With experience providing both individualized and group treatment, my service delivery is facilitated from a strength perspective- the heart of sessions being the importance of attunement with the client and the client’s ability to visualize their futures with hopefulness.

I provide counseling for individuals, couples, and families by creating a positive and caring treatment environment based on specific needs of each client. Using integrative, psychodynamic, CBT and interactive therapeutic methods, I help the client overcome the existing problem, implement behavioral changes, and explore his/her potential more effectively in everyday life. I am working in two locations: in Queens and Manhattan. My both offices is conveniently located in NY and it is easily accessible by public transportation. I have flexible working hours and I am open to scheduling counseling sessions on the weekends and late evenings, as well as any emergency appointments, if needed.

I'm a licensed psychotherapist. People ask for my advice on all aspects of life. I'm a new genus of therapists- mixing cognitive behavior DBT and psychodynamic therapies, to get the resolve you want. And I love what I do. With a relationship based on trust, respect and empathy, my goal is to help you create a different view of life- to change faulty thinking, get past old schemas, and resolve current issues that get in the way of your own personal growth and joy in life. People seek psychotherapy for different reasons. I am passionate in helping clients explore the disparity between where they are now and where they want to be with their desired goals in life. I provide empathic listening, compassionate presence, and nonjudgmental support to my clients. I subscribe to the core values of trust, respect, empathy, warmth, and genuineness, which have been shown to elicit insight, healing, change, and growth in clients. My culturally sensitive approach makes me aware and appreciative of the layers of difference among the multiculturally diverse populations I work with.

Footprints was started by a therapist who realized that often times the services provided to low socio-economic communities is lacking quality care. We noticed these communities were confronted with long wait times, disrespectful admins, and subpar treatment. The one and only purpose was to exploit the community for profit without providing the level of care deserved. Feel Better Therapy began from the inspiration to provide quality mental health care to the poorest of communities and treating the clients of this community the same way a rich patient would be treated in a clinic treating affluent clients.

We are a not for profit community resource dedicated to providing low-cost psychotherapy to adults, adolescents and children. Our group of licensed clinical social workers, psychoanalysts and psychologists are postgraduate therapists. In therapy, we address a wide range of challenges, such as anxiety, depression, difficulty in relationships, sexual dysfunction, life crisis, problems of self esteem, physical or sexual abuse, stress related to work setbacks, the emotional problems of adult children of alcoholics, chronic feelings of emptiness, loneliness and eating disorders.
