Human to Human counseling believes you are the one who knows best about yourself; working together with you as a team to work on goals the client bring to sessions. Therapy is a place to feel supported, learn new skills and how to implement them, and work through past trauma with an educated and genuine guide. Hello! My name is Amanda Khader. I am a Licensed School Psychologist in Iowa, and have taken additional graduate courses for my license in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. One service I offer is psychological assessment and diagnosing for ages birth to 21 for: Learning Disabilities, Behavior Disorders, ADHD, Autism and Anxiety/Depression. I also provide mental health counseling for individuals of any age, but I specialize in working with children with Autism and Behavior Disorders, clients with Anxiety and Depression, and clients dealing with stress or trauma.

I became a therapist with a goal to intervene at early ages with children/youth who are at risk with the hopes to minimize long term behavioral issues that lead into criminal behavior.
