In my youthful years I was angry and didn’t possess the words or space to articulate my experience. Instead, I carried around this energy that weighed on me. Intuitively, I knew early on that my thoughts played a role in how I felt so I found solace and relief in writing them down. This introspective practice allowed me to connect to my feelings and with the help of some very patient guides sent to my life, I was able to find my voice, identify the origins of my pain, and embrace the gravity of how outside factors impacted my internal state.

Welcome to a view of my practice. I am an intuitive, caring, experienced psychologist and life coach. I work with all age groups: children, teens, and adults. I assist my practice members in healing from past hurts, learning new coping strategies, managing stress, building self-esteem, removing blocks to success, and ultimately in reaching life satisfaction and happiness. Dr. Cantor obtained his Masters and Doctorates in Psychology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook with special interests in Developmental Neuropsychology. He is trained in Clinical Psychopharmacology and holds Diplomates from the American Board of Forensic Examiners, International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling, and Psychotherapy, and Fellow Status of the Academy of Learning and Developmental Disorders, and the American Board of Psychological Specialties - Neuropsychology, and the National Acadenmy of Neuropsychology. He is a specialist with Developmental Disorder such as ADHD and Autism, Neurotrauma, Biological factors underlying Depression, and Forensics.

I have a BA in Linguistics with a focus on atypical language development and a M Ed. in Educational Psychology for Multiple Severe Disabilities with a concentration in Autism Spectrum Disorders. I started my practice in 2015 in Atlanta, GA. I work with children and adolescents who have Autism and other developmental difference. My passion is helping children develop communication and language skills, functional/adaptive daily living skills and social skills and supporting parents and families of children with developmental disorders.

I draw from several modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused and narrative therapies and family systems. I work with children using play therapy.
