My treatment approach is based on over 10 years of providing testing and treatment services. In every case, my primary treatment goal is to help my clients develop the necessary skills--both thinking and behaving-- to improve their health, academic performance, day-to-day functioning and sense of well-being and self-efficacy. I do not fix my clients but focus all my efforts toward helping them to fix or better manage their problems themselves. This is done through fostering client strengths.

Relationship difficulties do not define a relationship. Mental health challenges do not define an individual. They are natural human trials to be experienced. I have over a decade of knowledge as a research investigator in psychology to assist in your counseling journey through experiences. I approach the human condition as if we contain natural resources, yet to be mined, to achieve full potential in life and relationships. There’s optimism in human nature and it contains hope to aspire towards greater self-understanding. Once a person becomes more self-aware of his/her behavior, it’s possible to change or adapt for the better.

My ideal client is someone who has a vested interest in their own well-being. A client who is open to building an authentic and trusting therapeutic relationship that empowers and acknowledges their strengths. My focus is on what the client brings, and my work is to support them during their transition. My speciality is working with those who suffer from anxiety, imposter syndrome, and those who are struggling with life stressors resulting from life transitions. My style is empathetic, nonjudgmental, direct, and honest. I believe you are the expert on your own life.
