Hi. My name is Amelinda Olivieri. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have been practicing for over 15 years. My approach is client-centered. I use different modalities depending on the client's needs but often take a cognitive behavioral approach. I enjoy working with a variety of clients. I have been successful in helping people overcome anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, alcoholism, OCD, and phobias.
I have worked with individuals and couples ranging from 5-75. I have worked with individuals living with anxiety, panic attacks, depression, OCD, phobias, low self-esteem, relationship issues, work stress, family stressors, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, schizophrenia, and autism.
I was attracted to this field at a young age. I always was curious about how the mind worked and enjoyed helping people. I enjoy seeing the progress that individuals make by putting the effort and work into themselves, seeing their confidence when they achieve their goals, and being able to guide them through the process.
