I approach therapy as a collaborative somatic process and provide a supportive, empowering, and confidential space. For the last twenty years, I've specialized in trauma, postpartum, and parenting. Race, gender, class, power (and how multiple identities intersect) all inform the work. I work with you to add more tools to your tool kit and co-create small, impactful personal and systemic change. Iʻm also fluent in Spanish.
Humans are natural storytellers. I use the tools of narrative therapy to better understand our stories. I also use play, art. metaphor, and humor to access both our dark and silly places. Tools include writing, grounding, and storytelling. I enjoy working collaboratively and creatively. I also offer ADHD assessments and am a certified Surf Therapist.
Starting therapy with a virtual stranger can feel scary and vulnerable, and at the same time having a neutral third party can feel liberating. The introductory call is free to see if it's a good match. I trained at Boston Medical Center, Waianae Health Center, and have lived experience as a solo adhd mama. I offer professionalism, experience, and empathy.

Surfing Moms
Founding member and current VP for our nonprofit Surfing Moms. We offer surf-care through a surf-swap childcare system to help moms take care of themselves. We offer surf therapy workshops and postpartum support as well. www.surfingmoms.org
