About
I specialize in treating adolescents and adults, as well as LGBTQ+ matters of all ages. I address issues such as anxiety and depression, life transitions, and substance abuse. I work with families on communication and focus on the family's overall happiness and how that can be achieved. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment in order to help you meet your goals.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches but primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution focused therapy.
I have experience working in inpatient substance abuse, intensive outpatient programming for adolescents and families, and with youth in a school setting. My role as a therapist is to motivate change and help people identify solutions.
