Sometimes life can feel hopeless and the answers are hard to come by. As your therapist, I tune in to what interests and empowers you. This means using; empirically supported methods such as, art therapy, meditation, EMDR, Brainspotting, DBT, CBT, Yoga therapy, body-brain therapies and exploring skills you already possess to improve your life. At Kelley Counseling we meet with young children, adolescents, teens, couples and families. We specialize in treating addiction, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood disorders, family discord, school issues, chronic pain and stress, depression, LGBTQ+, grief and loss and eating disorders.
I base our approach on your needs, ensuring a sense of safety and control over your treatment. Safety is paramount in treatments I offer, as I am an integrative, trauma therapist and am actively involved in research and implementation of trauma treatments such as; EMDR, Brain Spotting, IRT and Somatic Oriented Therapy, and Trauma Sensitive Yoga.
I specialize in art therapy, using the creative process to improve physical, mental, and emotional health while resolving issues, reducing stress, and improve self-esteem and awareness. It can be a fun and inspiring way to heal. Additionally I am a trained Yoga Instructor and can integrate therapeutic yoga into treatment at your request.
