She chose to pursue a career in counseling because she wants to give others a safe place to be heard and experience change.
Amelia appreciates an insight-oriented approach to counseling. This approach seeks to help us understand some of their underlying motivations concerning why we “act” the way we do. The counseling modalities she uses are Psychodynamic therapy, Emotion- Focused Therapy, and Attachment theory. Amelia also uses yoga and mindfulness in her practice.

She aims to help all that enter her space process feelings, identify underlying motivations and strategies to promote health.
