Being a therapist is one of the most beautiful parts of my life. It is such an honor to hold space for people and their needs. My therapy is from a biblical lens and is also connection based. We were made to be in relationships. The therapeutic relationship is integral for healing. Building a trusting and vulnerable relationship with clients is important to me. My hope is to provide clients with a space where they can come as they are and feel no shame. Counseling is truly an honor and I love being able to work alongside people that are willing to work toward wellness.
My counseling experience ranges from adolescents to adults. I've spent time working at an inpatient addiction rehab facility and have also worked in private practice helping people with a variety of needs. I specialize in life transitions, self-worth, people pleasing, anxiety, addiction, family relationships, trauma, and more.
My counseling approach is integrative and I use mainly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Theory, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (CBT). Another aspect of my approach is solution focused therapy. I often work with clients to help them set SMART goals and give them coping skills/tools.
