Welcome to your Journey! Like any expedition, your Journey is unique to you. The motivation to start this particular leg of your journey may differ from someone else's. Whatever life springs your way, you deserve a pat on the back for taking one of the most difficult steps: seeking help. With a compassionate, culturally sensitive and professional hand, I am honored to guide you on your path toward mental and emotional wellness.
I enjoy helping others arrive at a state of mental and emotional peace using a variety of tools. If we find it appropriate, Creative Healing describes our use of creative and artistic ways of accomplishing our therapy goals. Examples of this include journaling, music, painting, drawing, meditation and visualization.
Artistically, my interests range from visual art, film, music, and writing. Very much related to my work with culture and community is an interest in the way spirituality plays a role in our lives. Professionally, my interests also include energy psychology, ecopsychology, mindfulness, and meditation.

A Sip of Mindfulness

In this modern age, we are witnessing a resurgence of tea drinking as a social activity and method of healing. As our society continues to advance in technology, our mental, emotional, spiritual and physical systems become overwhelmed in trying to keep the pace. As a result, clients continue to share deep concerns about identity, career and relationships, many of which manifest as anxiety and depression symptoms. This weekly meeting is about 60-90 minutes where group members will learn practical techniques to help decrease symptoms through the practice of drinking tea.
