I work with clients who want to feel less anxiety in their nervous system, a higher sense of purpose in their daily life, and to improve the quality of their relationships (with both self and others). Many of my clients have expressed frustration with the narratives that continuously play in their mind, reinforcing negative patterns of shame and defeat. I partner with my clients in the safety of the therapeutic relationship, and challenge them to explore parts of self that feel discontent.
I approach mental health in a very holistic way- paying close attention to the connection between the brain and the body. Our nervous system has a lot to share if we get curious about what is happening. I am trained in EMDR trauma therapy, IFS (parts work), and CBT. I use a combination of interventions, meeting each client exactly where they are.
There is such value in having a therapist that you connect with- someone to help you build insight, find clarity, and pursue healing in a holistic way. We can work together to achieve that through implementing healthy boundaries, processing difficult memories, and ultimately allowing you to find more joy in your daily life.
