I specialize in helping men and women overcome debilitating anxiety, depression, and developmental trauma. I also work with individuals struggling with infertility, feeling secure during pregnancy and postpartum, and working through the challenges that come up with parenting. I'm interested in coming to know you, your hopes and dreams, and the obstacles that keep getting in the way. I believe in the innate capacity to heal and the growth that comes from exploring what hurts in a caring relationship.
My approach is informed by contemporary neuroscience, attachment theory, early object relations, and psychoanalysis. Once an OB/GYN, I come to this work with a deep interest in growth and development.
I understand contemplating psychotherapy can be fraught. Working together closely and carefully, we can sort out what gets in the way of freely living and loving. Our work can help you to build capacity to face painful truths to grow, find freedom and inspiration to become more of yourself.
