As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, I have experience working in inpatient settings, university counseling centers, and substance use treatment facilities. Clinical areas of focus include anxiety and mood disruptions, LGBTQ+ concerns, life adjustments and transitions, college student success, trauma, and substance use concerns including people connected to medication-assisted treatment.

I am a student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at John Carroll University and a Counselor Trainee (CT) in the state of Ohio. I am currently working under the supervision of Michelle M. Paul, LPCC-S at Impact Counseling Solutions. I provide counseling services to adults and teens and have experience treating depression, anxiety, self-harm, and self-esteem issues, substance abuse disorders and co occurring mental health disorders, as well as supporting those who are navigating life transitions, family conflict and interpersonal relationships.

At various times in our lives we may find ourselves faced with difficult experiences which may feel overwhelming and, often, seeking help can be the most difficult step. I believe that every person has the ability to make desired changes which can lead to a more fulfilling life. The weight of being alive, alone, hopeless, or stuck can feel unbearable or suffocating. Often we may feel that we know where we'd like to be in life, but don't know how to get there, or maybe we don't see a future at all. How does one overcome this sense of dread, or make sense from meaninglessness? I am a licensed professional clinical counselor supervisor in the state of Ohio. My specialties include the treatment of anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related disorders. I offer diagnostic assessment and empirically based treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but use a combination of therapy techniques based on patients’ needs including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness techniques with an emphasis on social skills training. I have experience providing counseling services to individuals over the age of eighteen. I have worked in community treatment centers, both inpatient and outpatient for Substance Use Disorders as well as private practice with a focus on mental health. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, stress management, and alcohol and other substance use disorders.
