Reaching out to start therapy can be one of the hardest things one does; my goal is to provide a safe and comforting place to feel heard. Advocating for mental health is close to my heart, and helping individuals become happy, healthy, and empowered is a passion of mine. I hope to walk beside you on your therapy journey toward reaching your goals and a happier path.

Our treatment approach is based on over 20 years of providing testing and treatment services. In every case, our primary treatment goal is to help clients develop the necessary skills to improve health, academic performance, day-to-day functioning and sense of well-being and self-efficacy. We make accessing our services easy by having two convenient locations, evening and weekend hours, and providing virtual and in office services (3801 Kirby Dr. Suite 311 Houston, TX 77098 and 8820 Will Clayton Parkway Suite A Humble, TX 77338).

In my practice I see clients of all ages, for therapy and testing/evaluations. I specialize in depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse/dependence, behavior disorders and family systems issues. Most of my clients present with a combination of symptoms. I tailor treatment to the specific needs of the client and use research proven techniques to meet the needs of the individual, or family, in a collaborative setting. I teach healthy coping skills to address a wide range of symptoms.

Relationship difficulties do not define a relationship. Mental health challenges do not define an individual. They are natural human trials to be experienced. I have over a decade of knowledge as a research investigator in psychology to assist in your counseling journey through experiences. I approach the human condition as if we contain natural resources, yet to be mined, to achieve full potential in life and relationships. There’s optimism in human nature and it contains hope to aspire towards greater self-understanding. Once a person becomes more self-aware of his/her behavior, it’s possible to change or adapt for the better.

I believe all human beings strive to create fulfilling lives with meaningful connections to others. Having a greater understanding of our strengths and weaknesses enables us to make better decisions that lead to living the life we imagine for ourselves. Through therapy, I assist clients in gaining insight into themselves through increasing coping and self-awareness. We will examine and identify values/strengths in order to make realistic goals and movement towards the life you want.
