Hi, I'm Amber Sutton, PhD, LICSW-S. I'm a feminist therapist and hockey enthusiast who works with adults who are used to being the person everyone relies on. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals who appear successful on the outside but feel exhausted, overwhelmed, or stuck in repeating patterns in their relationships and lives. With over a decade of clinical experience and doctoral training, my approach is direct, thoughtful, and focused on helping you understand yourself more clearly so you can live with greater intention. This is therapy for people who are ready to be real with themselves.
I specialize in trauma, burnout, and patterns of chronic over-functioning. Many of the people I work with learned early to carry responsibility for others and became the dependable person everyone turns to. As a feminist therapist, I view personal struggles within the broader context of relationships, expectations, and social systems that shape our lives.
