When you’ve spent years caring for everyone else, it can feel almost impossible to turn that care inward. You might appear strong, but inside you feel disconnected — from yourself, your emotions, and sometimes even from the people you love most.
At Very Well Therapy, I help you slow down, release shame, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been working so hard to protect you. Together, we’ll create space for healing that feels safe, compassionate, and sustainable.
I believe healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, our emotions, and others. Many of us have learned to survive by disconnecting from our true self.
My approach integrates relational and attachment-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). These modalities help you reconnect with your authentic self, resolve trauma stored in the body, and repair patterns of disconnection in your relationships.
I understand the exhaustion that comes from constantly caring for others. As a first responder spouse and recovering perfectionist, I know what it’s like to live in survival mode — always doing, rarely resting. My passion is helping others move from that same place of disconnection toward self-trust and deeper emotional connection.
