I work with clients who, despite their best efforts, seem to keep running up against a wall. Whether it's due to past childhood traumatic experiences, current work or relationship stressors or no known reason, I would love to support you. I especially enjoy working with couples as they navigate stuck patterns of disconnection. For individuals my primary focus is usually with anxiety and parenting. Clients who come to me often want a clearer understanding of their emotional experiences and relationship patterns. A main goal my clients are looking to achieve include a deeper and stronger relationship with themselves and others.

I track client's emotional patterns in order to increase their awareness of what keeps them stuck. I utilize evidence-based practices including Emotionally Focused Therapy and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy. I focus on emotions in real time, noticing where they are felt in the body in order to increase awareness and ownership.

My authenticity, non-judgemental stance and transparency with others helps me as I work with each client to meet them where they are in their journey. No two clients are the same. Whether you've done therapy previously or are just getting started, I would love to help you in your journey.

Clients predominantly come to me with relationship distress, anxiety and/or life transitions (first time parent, loss of a loved one, etc). First, we explore the client's areas of concern, their strengths and their history. Then, I work collaboratively to create a plan to address these issues. Clients often report a sense of hopefulness within the first two sessions.
