So many of my clients come in feeling like something is wrong with them. They are relieved to know that their feelings are normal. My clients come to me because they just want to feel better. They want to be less depressed, less anxious, better parents, more confident, and have healthier relationships. I work with my clients as they learn new ways of coping and living life that free them from negative thoughts, behaviors and patterns of emotional reactivity.
I specialize in emotional regulation. I do this by using a variety of modalities and interventions designed to give my clients greater insight into themselves. I teach about the brain and the part it plays in our ability to manage emotions, especially difficult or painful ones.
I love working with my clients and genuinely seek therapeutic connection. I take a more casual approach to therapy and love it when clients bring a coffee, kick off their shoes, and cozy up on the couch!
