I specialize in relationship counseling and support both couples & individual clients with a variety of issues including relationship difficulties, depression, anxiety, ADHD, life transitions, grief, stress and trauma. I strive toward a collaborative client-centered approach, supporting folks of all ethnic/cultural backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientations, neurotypes, and relationship structures. As a couples therapist, I aim to create a climate of emotional safety that allows partners to develop new ways to connect, overcome communication difficulties, strengthen trust, and deepen their sense of closeness and intimacy.
My therapeutic approach draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Buddhist philosophy: the notion that every human being possesses an innate clarity or inner "Self" harboring qualities of compassion/courage/wisdom to support personal growth. I've completed training in Emotion-Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) and the Gottman Method of couples therapy.
