About
As a therapist that specializes in depression, anxiety, and trauma, I experience the most reward working with individuals that are seeking ways to heal and become empowered in their lives. I love the challenge of working with individuals that have not always had a good experience with therapy but are willing to try it again. I have extensive experience working with adolescents (both male and female) and like the perspectives that they bring to therapy. I also work with adult women and couples. I am currently managing a wait list at this time but would love to work with you in the near future!
I specialize in trauma and the effects it has on the whole person. I also specialize in depression, anxiety, negative body image, self-harm, and low self-esteem.
When someone experiences depression, anxiety, and/or trauma, most often their bodies are not a safe place to be. I utilize body-based approaches (yoga, meditation, nature walks, and education on nutrition) to help heal the body from the inside out while helping the individual feel safe in their own skin.
