I graduated in 2022 with my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. Since starting my therapy career, I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing ADHD, ODD, Depression, Anxiety, Attachment Disorder, Panic Disorder, Personality Disorder, Substance Abuse and Suicidal Ideation. I have also worked with teens in JDAP programs and with clients on probation for substance abuse and anger management.
My preferred therapy style is a strength-based perspective, that emphasizes self-determination and resilience which takes a positive focus to a person’s strengths. I also incorporate art therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. I have found that I enjoy working with a wide spectrum of age groups from young children to the elderly.
I personally understand the pain and disappointment that comes with childhood adverse events and the importance of every person’s mental health. Providing therapy requires good listening skills and compassion, which allows me to help find what may help my clients through life’s challenges.
