I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years. Working in a variety of settings; including inpatient/residential treatment for eating disorders, community mental health and with students at CMU; has enabled me to gather a wide range of experience and knowledge. My clinical interests include working with adolescents and adults to overcome eating disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD symptoms and relationship problems.
I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in order to help clients learn to work with thoughts and emotions that act as barriers to recovery, while identifying and taking steps towards what is important to an individual. I am also trained and utilize EMDR for clients experiencing symptoms of trauma.
