We are created for connection! Unfortunately, there is no shortage of forces that make connections with others and ourselves a challenge. This can lead to changes in mood, distress in relationships, and an overall feeling that something is not right. If you are here, I already know one thing about you: you are aware there is a problem, and you are courageous enough to reach out for help. I've been there. I hope that I can be here for you as a partner in creating change for yourself & your relationships.
To help my clients improve their moods, change their patterns, and heal relationships I use insights from my extensive training in Gottman (Level3), Emotion-Focused Therapy, CBT & ACT. My theology degree allows me to help Catholics & Christians who want a therapist who integrates faith, but I also work with clients who are not religious. I also use EMDR!
I have been a therapy client & a therapist. I always strive to be the kind of therapist that I would want. I invite client feedback so that I can be a better therapist for you each time we meet.
