How we feel is central to how we live our lives. Whether you are struggling within a relationship, looking to overcome childhood trauma or navigating stressors in your life, I can help you to identify patterns and empower the change within yourself to alter your path. Give me a call or send me an email to see if we are a good match. Having a strong therapeutic alliance is key to promoting change. I look forward to hearing from you.

I am trained in EMDR and have a special interest in working with with teens and adults who have experienced trauma including male survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

Treatment begins with establishing a trusting relationship, and I am acutely aware that trust is cultivated over time. You are the expert on your own life and the gatekeeper of the therapeutic relationship; you choose how much or how little to share and when to share.

Amber M. Ornelas-Senger's Groups

Adult Male Survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse

Many survivors wish to have a place in their lives where they can speak openly and be heard without fear; a place where they are not seen as broken, where their defense mechanisms are seen for what they are. Survivors desire a space where the issues they suffer seem more normal. They want the ability to speak out and be understood. Survivors want to claim what they've long been denied: feelings of safety, acceptance and empowerment. Facilitation by a trained clinician allows for addressing common symptoms that are often experienced by survivors. WAITLIST STARTED: January 8, 2019 in Portland and February 7 in Bend.
