About
I enjoy working with both couples and individuals. Couples therapy can consist of troubles with communication, sex therapy concerns such as education, dysfunctions, lack of desire/interest, pain in sexual activity, medication side effects, and anxiety/depression related to sexual issues, post-affair recovery, and relationship conflict across the lifespan. I also work with those struggling with depression, anxiety, relational problems, including family systems. Starting this journey can feel awkward at first, but I am here to provide a safe environment for you to process and address a variety of your concerns.
I work from a systems approach. I believe, we learn our roles and behaviors from our family members, some good and some not so good. When we can recognize and understand these behaviors, we can learn to create new ones that can become more beneficial to us.
Often we are great at helping others, but struggle to help ourselves. We all need someone to "just listen" when we are feeling angry, exhausted, or just plain overwhelmed. I would be honored to walk along side you in your journey to become the best version of you.
