I understand that the decision to participate in therapy can be uncomfortable and daunting for many people, so creating a genuine client-therapist relationship and a safe space is a priority of mine. I strive to make the therapeutic process as stress-free and enjoyable as possible. I view therapy as a collaborative process that is founded on the individual’s strengths and goals and respect that each client is unique in their experiences and situations. I am passionate about working with couples, and client's struggling with anxiety, personal identity, and helping to challenge and change negative thoughts and behaviors.
Using EFT with a holistic and trauma-informed approach, I bring my knowledge and training into the session, just as the client brings their life experiences with them. I believe that you are the expert on your own life. I meet each client where they are and empower them to be their authentic selves, finding worth, direction, and living life fully.
As a counselor, I admire the courage it takes to ask for help and face change. Therapy can be a highly rewarding journey, and I most enjoy bearing witness to and being a part of each client’s growth. Outside of the office, I love traveling, trying new foods and experiences, and spending time with my family and friends.
