My name is Amber Hill and I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker with also a license in being a Massage Therapist. I like to practice holistically and cater to the entire aspect of an individual so they can reach their greatest potential. I use mindfulness, EMDR, CBT, strengths-based, life coaching, and Christian counseling as options when treating individuals. I believe in individuality and therefore not all modalities fit one person. I like to work with single mothers, couples, and those on a spiritual journey that may be inclusive of their career path.
I like to create an open environment where rapport is important as it helps establish trust and therapeutic alliance. Goal setting is about the client, so open-ended questioning and seeing them as the expert is important in collaboration of setting goals.
I’ve experienced my own challenges from childhood to adulthood that made me a natural caregiver and love to help others. I love when an individual can have that aha moment and it impacts their lives for the better.
