I am grateful and privileged to be a part of the healing journey for others. I am client-centered in my approach, and work from a strengths-based perspective with the belief that everyone has strengths to build on. I tailor various interventions and skill-based methods to each individual client, which I believe is best practice. I also believe strongly in mind/ body approaches for treatment such as mindfulness, sensory-based strategies and somatic practices to help integrate our experiences. I am trained in EMDR by an EMDRIA-approved trainer for treatment of trauma, anxiety, grief, and loss as well as a range of other issues.
I believe my role is to help identify areas of stuck patterns and distress and facilitate exploration with alternative coping skills to create wholeness, wellness and a meaningful life. Generating strong, therapeutic relationships is essential to me and my goal is for each client to feel heard and understood as they process and work through difficult issues.
Business Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. I offer early morning 8am appointments Monday-Thursday and have some late afternoon/evening availability as well. We also provide a free online family support group for anyone who loves someone in active addiction or who has a family member in early recovery.
