I feel pulled to help clients who are experiencing stress and/or anxiety during life transitions and feel they need extra support during this time and afterwards. College student graduating and entering higher education or the work force? Recently in a relationship or marriage and experiencing some discomfort? Are you a new parent and finding the transition to be overwhelming and your relationships have shifted? I enjoy helping clients take a breath, build confidence, see their patterns and its impact, understand their narratives, and find a path forward to manage uncertainty, and embrace the merging of old and new identities.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a native of New Orleans. I work specifically with young and middle aged adults to assist with managing life's stressors. I take an integrative approach that work's best with my client's needs. I do consider the mind and body connection and encourage healthy diet practices, exercise and hormone awareness.
I offer a non-judgmental and empathetic environment for exploration. I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors for positive change and growth. I am gentle and encouraging but will hold clients accountable as this is necessary for growth. Each client is unique and I do my best to meet them where they are in life.
