I am Licensed in California and Texas so I can see clients virtually from either location. My specialty is working with Gen Zs, the BIPOC community and women of color specifically due to my professional background and personal experiences which I use to guide my practice. I am an expert in helping this population navigate the difficulties and challenges of major life transitions, racial stressors, identity, self esteem issues, childhood trauma, inner child healing, sexual abuse, perfectionism, existential crisis, dating, communication issues, interpersonal relationships, termination of relationship, and microaggressions
As a woman of color, I also have a special ability to connect, guide and support women struggling with various interpersonal and intrapersonal issues i.e self esteem, termination of a relationship, communication skills, career changes, sexism, intimate partner conflict or life’s obstacles due to systemic racism that may affect them in various aspects
My approach to therapy combines Cognitive Behavioral, Humanistic/Person Centered counseling with a socially/ culturally competent and Trauma -Informed lens to help the client not only recognize their strengths, but also utilize existing support systems, develop new coping skills, effectively respond to crisis and empower the client
