Finding a counselor can feel overwhelming. My goal is to make the process feel a little less intimidating and a lot more human. I work primarily with children, adolescents, young adults, and families, with a special focus on youth who are struggling with anxiety, anger, grief, life transitions, and emotional regulation. I have extensive experience supporting young children and teens who may have a hard time opening up, expressing emotions, or trusting the process. I meet clients where they are—no pressure, no judgment, and no expectation to have the “right” words. My approach is collaborative, strengths‑based, and trauma‑informed.
I often incorporate CBT, along with coping skills, emotional awareness, and communication strategies clients can actually use in real life. With younger clients, sessions may include age‑appropriate activities, creativity, and movement to help them feel more comfortable and engaged. I believe counseling should feel supportive, not clinical or cold.
