I'm Amara, a licensed clinical social worker, passionate about guiding individuals, couples and families through life's challenges towards healing, transformation and self-discovery. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, interpersonal relationships, burn out, personal growth and fostering a sense of self worth and confidence. Healing looks different for each of us and I'm here to guide and facilitate your process towards cultivating your intuitive wisdom and resiliency. As an experienced trauma-informed clinician, my approach blends evidence-based practices with compassion, presence and authenticity. I utilize a strengths-based and solution-focused lens to cultivate self compassion, an important aspect of healing trauma. Some additional modalities I integrate include EMDR, EFT, mindfulness-based, ACT and CBT.
I work with adolescents, adults, couples and families from all backgrounds, cultures, identities and walks of life.
