Greetings everyone, It is a privilege to meet you all! I am a counseling intern who enjoys working with a wide range of clients. I especially enjoy counseling individuals, couples and families ranging through ages 13-65. It is my aim to create and maintain a safe, open and judgement free space for everyone. Through social, cultural, racial, sexual and ethical competency, I will always utilize my best practices when working with clientele. From issues of major depression, grief, trauma, divorce, family conflict and more, my overall goal is to be an effective listener, helper, coach and counselor.
Some counseling techniques and approaches that I enjoy include psychodynamic counseling, humanistic counseling, existential and cognitive-behavioral therapy, reality therapy, life coaching, marital counseling, familial relations counseling and more!
I believe that everyone is capable and deserves a fair chance at change. One of the most valuable lessons that I have learned while working with people is that you have to listen and respect whatever it is that they have to express. By doing so, I will continue to work towards being the best counselor that I can be. I look forward to working with you all!
