Hello! I'm Dr. Yoder. Seeking growth is a brave (and sometimes anxiety-provoking) thing to do. It takes curiosity, courage, and openness to lean into this work. While I deeply value the work with everyone I see, I specialize in codependence, working with "healers", women, HSP's, and anyone with history of personal, generational, or chronic trauma.
It is truly a privilege to walk with clients, through the pain they arrived with, and notice that we come out on the other side together, with new empowerment. I love this work!
When I'm not in the office, I'm writing, creating art, working in the garden, and exploring our mountains.
I work from a Jungian, psychodynamic lens - this helps me keep the focus off pathology, and on authenticity - I believe that "health" is a relative term, my job is to help you find, and know, what freedom feels like! I offer psychoeducation, IFS, EMDR, DBT, somatic practice, feminist theory, and space for dynamic reflection through the working relationship.
This type of work can be deeper, life-changing, and requires vulnerability at times - establishing trust is a top priority. A first-time consultation call to assess our fit is encouraged, and I'm happy to provide a no-commitment first-session.
