It is my pleasure to work with you in a therapeutic relationship. My primary belief is that what makes therapy effective is the quality of our relationship. I believe children have a voice but just have difficulty verbalizing it at times, and through interactive and expressive therapy I am able to best communicate and build relationships.
I have a MA in counseling from Southern Nazarene University and am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I had 20 years experience working in an inpatient psychiatric hospital for children and specialized with children coping with trauma and sexual acting out behaviors.
I have received received specialized training in EMDR as well as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
