I am Amanda Wayne, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who has had the great fortune of working with clients of all ages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and socioeconomic statuses. I believe we all possess unique qualities and share a universal desire for connection and understanding. It is always gratifying for me to help clients find their unique path toward self-knowledge and emotional growth. I have been especially inspired by the power of mindfulness, as it helps clients live in the present, appreciate the beauty in life, and learn strategies to heal and thrive.
I strongly believe that therapy is a journey shared by the therapist and client, and I always respect each client's strengths and insights. Over my many years of practice, I have remained curious and open to new and innovative forms of treatment.
