As a therapist, I see my role as walking along side you as you journey through life's peaks and valleys, helping to unshackle you from your past, so that you are empowered to more fully enjoy life in the present. My treatment approach is tailored to clients' individual needs and is built on a foundation of honesty, compassion, non-judgment, and genuine relationship. I work collaboratively and prioritize making therapy a safe space to grow.
I am experienced in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and relational concerns. I have worked extensively with individuals affected by trauma, loss, and identity concerns. I am also particularly experienced in the realm of addiction, having worked with those addressing their own use, as well as those who have been affected by a loved one's addiction.
I work with adults using an integrative approach. My practice is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive. I draw particularly from psychodynamic and relational treatment approaches, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness. I am trained in EMDR. I also attend to the immediate needs of my clients through focused needs assessment and symptom reduction.
