My ideal client has been through some of the misery and misfortune that life can throw at us and are trying to cope with the challenges that can follow like excessive worry, tension, sadness and sometimes a loss of hope. They want to talk about their story in a safe supportive atmosphere with someone who will really listen and care. They want to be well and are ready to be an active part of the process that leads to health and wellness. I enjoy and work well with all ages, especially adolescents and teenagers.
My unique style of counseling is engaged and caring. I have a masters degree in Counseling Psychology, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapy (AMFT) license and I am certified in Equine Assisted Therapy. My clients can receive traditional counseling at the office or we can utilize the healing power of horses with counseling sessions at a horse facility.
