At Grit and Grace Counseling, I hope to create a safe and nurturing environment where you can feel heard and valued. I'm committed to supporting you through the challenges you're facing. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, panic, stress, or other struggles related to past trauma, I am here to listen and walk with you as you find the right path forward. My career started over 15 years ago in the social work field before I felt the calling to go back to school to complete my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I believe this background has been a benefit to my clients by teaching me to look beyond the presenting symptoms.
I am committed to continuing education trainings and staying current on counseling research. I have been intensively trained in Neurosomatic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Crisis Intervention, DBT Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy. I take an eclectic approach between these modalities depending on my client.
Together, we'll uncover your strengths and develop strategies and tools to foster personal growth and healing. I hope to help you find clarity and resilience by offering professional guidance tailored to your unique needs. Your well-being is my top priority.
