Do you feel stuck? Weighed down by shame or grief? Do you feel lonely or unfulfilled by your current relationships? Did you learn some unhealthy ways of communicating from your family? I welcome the client who wants a deeper connection to themselves and the people they love. Someone who needs space to practice a more authentic and effective way of expressing themselves. Someone who needs help parsing out what is theirs to address and what is unhelpful cultural messaging. This world can be cruel and confusing; you don't have to figure it all out on your own.
I offer a warm, empowering approach to therapy that builds on your strengths. “Drama Therapy” may sound scary to some. I offer tools based in theater practices, such as storytelling, creative writing, and role play, to move through stuckness and create more freedom in your life in a way that complements traditional talk therapy.
As a cis-het white woman offering mental health care, I am committed to maintaining a culturally humble, anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming clinical practice as well as continued advocacy for community care and liberation. We heal in relationship to each other. If you resonate with this, I'd love to hear from you.
