About
There are many factors that contribute to the decision to pursue therapy. Finding someone who can assist you at this significant time in your life is an important choice. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I collaborate with you to understand areas to focus on within therapy and best approaches that are both helpful and supportive. I highly value treating others with respect, empathy, and acceptance. Working with me you will find my style is warm, open, and interactive.
My experiences in multiple settings, (community mental health, university counseling, private practice) have provided me with a wealth of knowledge/skills to work with people from diverse backgrounds. I enjoy working with young adults/adults seeking therapy for a wide range of reasons, such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, or grief and loss.
Please contact me by email at amanda@riveratherapy.com or by phone at (925) 523-8834 if you have any questions or would like more information. I also encourage you to take a look at my website to find more information about my practice and me.
