I use client centered play therapy with young children allowing them a safe place to express their feelings and thoughts. Older children and adolescents demand a balance of talk and activity-based therapy to assist them in developing strategies for managing their thoughts and emotions.
When working with adults, I address the way life experiences shape thoughts and perceptions. I assists client in gaining insight into how this affects behavior. I also offer parent consultation/coaching to assist parents in managing their child's behavior and providing ways to improve interactions with their child.
