I assist clients in re-connecting to their authentic selves and engaging with the life they are pursuing. I believe that genuine interactions and feeling understood allows people the opportunity to rediscover their own value and strength. This can assist people in accomplishing their unique goals as individuals and in relationships. I am experienced in working with children, adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and behavioral struggles.

I use client centered play therapy with young children allowing them a safe place to express their feelings and thoughts. Older children and adolescents demand a balance of talk and activity-based therapy to assist them in developing strategies for managing their thoughts and emotions.

When working with adults, I address the way life experiences shape thoughts and perceptions. I assists client in gaining insight into how this affects behavior. I also offer parent consultation/coaching to assist parents in managing their child's behavior and providing ways to improve interactions with their child.
