Everyone struggles with things that happen to them and around them, and sometimes it can be too much for one person to handle. That is why I am here. I am Amanda Popik, a therapist with North Canton Therapy Works where I specialize in working with individuals and couples who struggle to deal with trauma, anxiety, depression, stress management, communication skills, and personality disorders. While these things can be very impactful to your life, I can help you find ways to learn from it and continue to grow into the person you want to be.
I have my Bachelor of Arts from Kent States University in Psychology, as well as my Masters of Arts in Counseling: Specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University in Chicago. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) through Trauma Institute International (TII). I have held this certificate for the past 4 years.
I am always growing and learning because I want to help people grow and learn. I look at my clients not just from a mental health issue, but the whole self needs to be considered. I cater each client’s treatment to their needs. I look forward to helping you!
