Amanda Poole
Clinical Social Work/Therapist, LCSW
Are you stuck in a pattern of self-defeating behavior? Do you feel you've lost your bearings in life? Are you struggling with problems in your relationships? As a psychotherapist I help people strengthen their inner resources to deal with problems ranging from addiction and eating disorders, to anxiety and depression. I work collaboratively with patients, ending self-destructive beliefs and behaviors, developing their genuine self-love and acceptance, and recovering their true selves.
I use a variety of different treatment methods, including Relational Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), 12-Step recovery, and Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples counseling. Drawing on these diverse approaches, my goal is to meet each patient's individual therapeutic needs in a supportive manner.
I am a licensed clinical social worker. I obtained my Master's Degree at Columbia University and completed continuing education courses at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, and the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia. I am also a certified yoga instructor. Call today for a private consultation.
