The purpose of Finding Freedom Therapy is to treat trauma and grief from every angle in order to promote healing and increase resilience. We utilize evidence-based therapies to treat trauma and loss reactively as well as proactively; our mission is to help not only after it has taken place, but also if it has an ongoing role in your life. While we work with a wide array of clients, we specialize in working with military members, veterans, police officers, firefighters, medical personnel—all those who deal with trauma and tragedy on a daily basis. We also provide dedicated services to parents grieving a loss after perinatal demise.
In life there will inevitably be struggles, but they do not have to break us. In fact, they are the exact things that can make us stronger. After hardship, loss, or even trauma, we can do so much more than heal. We have the opportunity to grow and become even more resilient and more capable to face anything that may come.
As therapy can be overwhelming, I utilize Animal Assisted Therapy which has been proven to significantly improve the therapeutic process and is especially helpful with trauma and grief. It incorporates human-animal interactions into a formal therapeutic process. I am a certified handler & I work with a very supportive, certified canine named Lily Magnolia.
