Amanda McQueen, MA, ALC, NCC, Counselor in Opelika
My passion is helping people who are struggling in relationships. This means I work with individuals and couples dealing with a number of concerns. I work with those dealing with the aftermath of substance abuse issues, and I enjoy working with people who long for relational intimacy but feel stuck in an endless cycle of hurts and disappointments. I come alongside you so that you can have new, successful emotional experiences within relationships. You are not beyond help. There is hope for you.
As a counselor, my goal is to walk alongside you as we work toward overall wellness. Life presents many challenges, and accepting help can be hard. I offer an atmosphere of acceptance in which we can identify and overcome obstacles to your life goals.
I graduated from Regent University with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor with experience working with adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, and substance abuse. I counsel individuals and couples and welcome the opportunity to work with you.
