Are you working with a little anxiety (or really maybe alot actually) or depression? What about a mood disorder? Encountered trauma? Are you in the perinatal period, a new parent and are looking to feel empowered from the feeling of postpartum anxiety, or depression or birth trauma? As a therapist I can always appreciate the vulnerability that a person can have when seeking out therapy, so it is my goal to make you feel at ease when you show up to work on any or all of these things at your pace.
I work with individuals to manage significant life stressors or traumatic experiences that continue to impact or trigger you. Using specifically focused techniques (EMDR/others) that I fit to your specific needs, I can assist you in working through and addressing troubling thoughts, trauma history, and behaviors to allow you to find relief and balance.
The biggest passion I have about therapy, is to normalize it! Why else would I do this! Let me work with you to provide some healing and lessen the burden of suffering, I strongly believe that everyone deserves that. I am humbled to be able to be a part of your life.
