Amanda Albanese (she/her) is a Licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health specializing in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, substance use disorders and working with the LGBTQI+ population. Amanda treats patients between the ages of 6 and 90 utilizing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Amanda has completed trainings in DBT, TF-CBT, Complex Trauma, Reiki I, and is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), having received her 300 hour in 2017 from Sadhana Yoga in New York and her 200 hour in 2015 from Burlington Yoga in Vermont.
In her clinical work, Amanda is well versed in both traditional therapeutic techniques as well as creative modalities such as play therapy, inner child work, role play, and guided imagery. Amanda has a Master of Arts in Clinical Holistic Mental Health Counseling from Salve Regina University.
She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Relations from Champlain College. In her free time, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and friends. She also loves being on the Development Committee for CAMP Rehoboth, and getting to the beach or the mountains whenever she can.
