Hi there, I’m Amanda Magallanes! I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who is passionate about meeting clients where they are and supporting them through challenges with guidance, compassion, and encouragement. I incorporate spirituality in my practice and focus on the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to help clients tap into their inner strength, find meaning and purpose, and cultivate resilience on their journey toward growth and healing.
I believe goal setting is an important part of the healing and growth process. I aim to take a collaborative approach to assisting my client with identifying their needs, finding solutions, and tracking their progress. I use encouragement throughout our time together.
The main focus of the first initial session is to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. This usually involves asking clients questions about current stressors, challenges, and how they have been feeling recently. We will also discuss their expectations, any concerns, and what they would like to get out of our time together.
